A short handoff record can reduce confusion after a custom item leaves the workbench. Photograph the finished face, the packaging label, and the order reference together as three separate checkpoints.
Record what was actually reviewed
The photos do not need to be polished marketing images. Their job is to let the maker compare the finished piece with the approved proof and the packed order. If anything differs, pause and resolve the mismatch before treating the handoff as complete.
